This is the first large-scale event organised by the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, aiming to offer both residents and visitors a lively and engaging experience of Viet Nam’s agricultural wealth.
The Viet Nam Agricultural Products Week 2025 is expected to feature signature products and regional specialities from 34 provinces and cities across the country. The exhibition space will resemble a miniature painting that showcases the abundance and diversity of Vietnamese produce — from fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, and processed goods to distinct regional delicacies.
One of the event’s main highlights will be the debut and sale of the largest sturgeon in Lai Chau — weighing nearly 50 kg and raised for 15 years — a symbol of the aquaculture potential of the northern mountainous provinces.
A particularly notable feature of this year’s event will be the launch of the digital agricultural products map — an online platform designed to help users look up and connect with local produce. This interactive tool enables consumers and businesses to easily search for specialities from each locality, learn about their origins, obtain contact details and identify production areas.
Alongside the exhibition, a street food area will recreate the culinary essence of Viet Nam’s three regions, offering visitors a chance to savour traditional, flavourful dishes right in the heart of Ha Noi.
According to Tran Huu Linh, Director General of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, the Viet Nam Agricultural Products Week 2025 is not only an exhibition to honour Vietnamese produce but also a bridge between producers and consumers. It plays a key role in stimulating domestic consumption, expanding e-commerce, and promoting Vietnamese agricultural brands in both local and international markets.
“Through this event, we hope Vietnamese agricultural products will not only become more familiar to domestic consumers but also gain stronger recognition for their quality and value, affirming their position on the global agricultural map,” said Director General Tran Huu Linh.
