The event opened on May 30 at Lac Long Quan Park in the capital city's Tay Ho District.
This gives OCOP owners from Ha Noi and other provinces a chance to exchange ideas, connect, and promote their products.
According to Nguyen Dinh Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ha Noi currently has over 1,350 trade villages, accounting for 40% of the country's total trade villages.
Combined with a rich food scene, these conditions favour Ha Noi’s effective implementation of the OCOP programme.
Since 2019, the capital city has recognised 3,317 OCOP products, including six rated five stars and another 22 with the potential to achieve five-star ratings, 1,571 products rated four stars, and 1,718 products with three-star ratings.
Each product displayed at the event carries the cultural identity, traditions, and knowledge of its respective locality.
OCOP products serve not only as special gifts but also as bridges to better understanding the cultural diversity of each region.
During the event, which runs until June 2, folk performances are also held each evening.
