The events are taking place from September 17 to 19 at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh, with a display area spanning approximately 2,500 square metres.

The series, co-hosted by functional Cambodian ministries, sectors and agencies and the Vietnamese Trade Office in host country, aims to provide a platform for fostering practical business activities between companies in and outside Cambodia, thereby making a positive contribution to the development of the Cambodian economy.

In addition to showcasing products at exhibition booths, the series also feature workshops and discussion sessions providing the latest market updates and share practical experiences, offering strategic insights for participating businesses.

A forum on promoting Viet Nam–Cambodia trade, agricultural science-technology, and livestock was held within the framework of the programme, attracting the participation of business associations operating in farming and livestock from both countries.

Speaking the forum, Do Viet Phuong, Head of the Vietnamese Trade Office in Cambodia, reported that the bilateral trade turnover in 2004 was estimated at 300 million USD. By 2024, this figure had reached 10.1 billion USD. In the first eight months of 2025, the bilateral trade turnover stood at USD 7.98 billion, a 16.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Agricultural products such as vegetables, fruits, cashews, rice, cassava, seafood, processed agricultural products, as well as products supporting agricultural development like fertilisers, pesticides, machinery, and farming tools, have contributed significantly to the bilateral trade turnover between the two countries.

He emphasised that these statistics not only reflect the bilateral trade but also the strong connection and growing friendship between the two nations and their business communities. Both sides are committed to striving towards the goal of achieving a bilateral trade turnover of 20 billion USD.
