Vinamilk and ‘Vuon cao Viet Nam’ Milk Fund launch 16th year of journey in Quang Ninh

Vinamilk and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children officially have recently launched the “Vuon cao Viet Nam” (Stand Tall Vietnam) Milk Fund 2023 in Binh Lieu District, Quang Ninh Province, marking the 16th year of this milk donation programme.

In 2023, Vinamilk and the Milk Fund will continue to support nearly 17,000 disadvantaged children by providing them with a total of more than 1.5 million glasses of milk, worth 10 billion VND.

In particular, this is the 13th year disadvantaged children in Quang Ninh Province have benefited from the programme, with an estimated 600,000 glasses of milk.

After Quang Ninh, the Milk Fund will continue to donate milk to localities in the provinces of Lang Son, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Duong, etc., as well as the two big cities of City Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi in 2023.

Director of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children Dinh Tien Hai said that the “Vuon cao Viet Nam” Milk Fund is a humanitarian programme for disadvantaged children that the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and Vinamilk have jointly implemented since 2008. He noted that Vinamilk is appreciated for its practical contributions to the community over the years.

After 16 years, the Milk Fund has handed out more than 42 million glasses of milk to more than 500,000 children across Vietnam, with total funding of 200 billion VND.

It can be said that this is one of the largest nutritional care programmes for children being carried out annually in the long term in order to create significant improvements to health and physical nutrients for children.
