The closing ceremony was attended by representatives of embassies, international organisations in Viet Nam, and leaders of central ministries, agencies, and the Ha Noi municipal government.
In his closing remarks, Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasised that sustainable, creative and inclusive development has become a shared goal for many countries around the world — and Viet Nam is no exception.
The minister affirmed that Viet Nam is a nation of rich civilisation and heroic tradition with thousands of years of history, always cherishing peace and upholding the spirit of cooperation and stability. Viet Nam attaches great importance to preserving and promoting the values of its cultural heritage, while respecting and protecting nature as a way of honouring its traditions — a foundation that ensures the development rights of future generations and supports the country’s rapid and sustainable growth.
More than just a gathering of global cultures in friendship, and carrying the message “The world beats with one loving heart,” the organisers also launched a charity auction and fundraising campaign that raised 2.5 billion VND in support of Vietnamese people affected by floods. All proceeds will be used to help build homes, schools and public facilities, and to assist in rebuilding the lives of communities in disaster-affected areas.

The two-day event was jointly organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ha Noi People’s Committee.
Under the motto “Culture as the foundation – Art as the means,” the festival gathered 48 countries and international organisations, featuring 45 cultural spaces, 34 food stalls, 23 performing art troupes from both home and abroad, 112 book and publication exhibitors. In addition, 22 countries also joined the international film screening programme.
Aiming to celebrate cultural diversity and enhance people-to-people exchange, the festival offered a rich array of activities including exhibitions, traditional performances, fashion shows, culinary experiences, and international film screenings.
At the closing ceremony, the organisers presented flowers and commemorative medals to participating embassies, international organisations, and sponsors.
