In attendance at the ceremony was Do Van Chien, Politburo member and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front.
At the launch event, Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Youth Union, affirmed that the summer volunteer campaign is not only an opportunity for young people to bring their energy, intellect, and enthusiasm to underprivileged communities but also a chance for each individual to grow and develop through self-improvement.
Huy emphasised that the activities within the campaign should focus on effectively implementing the strategic breakthroughs identified by the Party, particularly the Politburo's Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation.
This year's campaign takes place as localities are working to restructure their administrative apparatus. As such, the Youth Union must also adapt its activities to fit the new organisational model.
Therefore, the participation of Youth Union members in this restructuring process through concrete actions is highly meaningful.
This includes engaging in communication work to build social consensus on the policy of administrative unit reorganisation, offering legal advice and supporting citizens in resolving related administrative procedures.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chien praised the Youth Union members’ proactive and innovative spirit in updating and enhancing the content of the 2025 summer volunteer youth campaign.
To effectively carry out the set objectives, the front leader called on all levels of the Youth Union to continue allocating resources to organise more practical activities that meet the needs of children, support those in difficult circumstances, and create favourable conditions for all children to enjoy recreation, learning, and comprehensive development.
