Luong Cuong, Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, who is also head of the sub-committee, chaired the meeting, which looked into the implementation of the organising plan for the congress, and proposals regarding the work, and communications plans.
Cuong lauded efforts of relevant units as well as their coordination over the past time, saying preparations have been made as scheduled, meeting set requirements.
The good performance by each unit will significantly contribute to the success of the congress, he said, noting what raised at the meeting needs to be completed as soon as possible to seek opinions from the Politburo and the Secretariat for early implementation.
The organising sub-committee is one of the five sub-committees set up to serve the congress, along with others which are in charge of documents, socio-economic affairs, personnel affairs, and the Party Regulations.
