According to the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, visitors can explore Hai Van Gate using a 3D map, featuring stories and check-in missions at nine special locations.

The check-in platform will recognise visitors’ presence at Hai Van Gate and provide them with an interactive experience.

Specifically, the 3D map recreates the magnificent natural beauty of Hai Van so that visitors can immerse themselves in a world where culture, history, and technology mix together to create a unique experience.

To explore Hai Van Pass with the 3D map, visitors need a smartphone to connect with NFC chip-mounted check-in plates at the sightseeing spots.

Hai Van Gate, located on the border between Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue, was built under the Nguyen Dynasty as a checkpoint to control the road leading to the former imperial city of Hue.
