Art programme honours late PM Vo Van Kiet

On the evening of November 22, on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet, the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Commission for Communication and Education organised a political and art programme in commemoration of late PM Vo Van Kiet.

The programme honoured the late PM’s merits and contributions to the development of the country as an outstanding politician and a talented leader who has left many imprints in the hearts of the people.

The event was attended by Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, standing member of the PCC’s Secretariat Vo Van Thuong, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Hoa Binh, and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, among others.

The event was attended by Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, standing member of the PCC’s Secretariat Vo Van Thuong, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Hoa Binh, and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, among others.

With nearly 70 years of revolutionary activities in different working positions, late PM Vo Van Kiet has made many outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party.

As Prime Minister, he joined hands with the Politburo and the PCC in implementing an open diplomacy, breaking the siege and embargo, establishing regional and global economic links, and using all resources to gain many benefits for the country and its people.
