On October 4, the 10th Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, 2021-2026 tenure, held its 19th session.
At the session, delegates of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council discussed, reviewed and unanimously voted to pass ten resolutions, including a resolution approving a project to adjust the overall master plan of Da Lat City and its vicinity to 2045.
Based on the planning projects approved by the Prime Minister and other grounds, the project to adjust the overall master plan of Da Lat City and its vicinity to 2045 has a planning scope of the entire administrative boundaries of Da Lat City and the districts of Lac Duong, Don Duong, Duc Trong, part of Lam Ha District (including Nam Ban Town and the communes of Me Linh, Dong Thanh, Gia Lam, Nam Ha), with an elevation of 850m or more and a total natural area of more than 336,000 hectares.
The planning period is until 2045, and the short-term period is until 2035. The population size for 2035 is about 1.1 to 1.15 million people, and by 2045, is about 1.9 to 1.95 million.
