Following directives from the Government, the Ministry of National Defence, Military Region 5, and the Da Nang City People's Committee, the Da Nang City Military Command launched the Quang Trung campaign to swiftly rebuild and repair houses in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions which were damaged by storms and flooding from mid-October to late November 2025.
Under the campaign, 286 homes were completed ahead of schedule, including 11 homes in Dak Lak Province and 275 in Da Nang City, helping locals stabilise their lives, resume production, and gradually overcome the disaster aftermath.
The Da Nang City Military Command also allocated nearly 600 million VND in aid and donated hundreds of essential items such as televisions, beds, electric fans, and rice cookers to flood victims.
The campaign not only aided people to overcome disaster impacts but also profoundly demonstrated the Da Nang armed forces’ attachment and responsibility towards residents and promoted image of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers”.
