Da Nang: Campaign attracts Korean tourists

Da Nang Department of Tourism organised the "Enjoy Danang Again Campaign" from August 17 to the end of 2024.

Accordingly, the "Enjoy Danang Again Campaign" will take place from July 15 to the end of 2024, providing an interesting experience for Korean tourists returning to the city.

Korean tourists will be given a lovely umbrella as a souvenir, with stylised images of symbols and prominent city destinations, along with attractive incentive packages and discounts from 4-5-star hotels, and on culinary, shopping, spa, and transportation, in addition to entertainment at Danang Downtown and the Charming Show.

Korean visitors will receive souvenirs and check in at the Tourist Support Center in Da Nang International Airport.

Visitors can scan the QR code to receive tourism publications and program information.

Da Nang is the first locality in Vietnam to implement this event for the Korean tourist market. Through this campaign, the city hopes to maintain the identity of Da Nang as a unique destination in the eyes of Korean tourists, responding to their love for Da Nang, and bringing visitors more complete and interesting experiences.

According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, Korea has been the leading international tourist market in Da Nang for many years.

During the 2015 - 2019 period, the RoK was in the top three international source markets for Da Nang.

From 2022, right after reopening to international visitors, Da Nang recorded outstanding growth, in the number of Korean visitors.

The total number of Korean visitors staying in Da Nang in the first six months of 2024 is estimated at more than 822,000, an increase of 40% over the same period in 2023.
