Launched by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Art Photo Contest is an important event for Vietnamese photographers.

It aims to introduce domestic and international visitors to excellent photographic artworks of Vietnamese photographers.

It also seeks to encourage artists to create more high-quality works, that can meet the people's entertainment demand while contributing to advertising the country and the people of Vietnam.

Winners of this year’s contest were announced and honoured at a ceremony held in Hanoi on October 6.

The exhibition will open to the public until November 13 at Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, 97A Pho Duc Chinh Street, District 1.
