The Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Le Hong Son has recently signed and issued Plan No.260/KH-UBND, on organising the exhibition of archival documents in 2024, with the theme “Hanoi and its old Citadel Gates”.

The exhibition aims to effectively implement Directive No.05/CT-TTg dated March 2, 2007, of the Prime Minister on strengthening the protection and promotion of the value of archival documents.

Through the historical story of the Thang Long-Hanoi Citadel, the exhibition will introduce the changes and developments of Hanoi in many different historical periods, from the 19th century to the present.
