The Cham Ethnic Culture Festival will take place from December 5 to 7 in Khanh Hoa province to celebrate the distinctive traditional values of Cham ethnic community.

Held under the theme “Preserving and Promoting the Cultural Identity of the Cham Ethnic Group in the New Era,” the festival will showcase a vibrant array of activities, including folk art performances, traditional costume displays, excerpts from Cham festivals, and demonstrations of cultural rituals.

Festival goers can also enjoy folk games and traditional sports.

Exhibitions will highlight the rich cultural heritage of the Cham people, featuring handicrafts such as brocade weaving and pottery-making. A dedicated workshop will explore ways to promote Cham cultural heritage within the tourism sector.

The festival aims to honour Viet Nam’s diverse yet unified cultural tapestry, reflecting the Party and State’s commitment to preserving the Cham community’s heritage during a period of integration and sustainable development.

Moreover, the event serves as a platform to reinforce solidarity among ethnic groups, fostering exchange, cooperation, and shared progress between the Cham people and other communities across the South Central Coast and Southern regions.
