The screenings are being held by the Vietnam Cinematography Association in anticipation of the Golden Kite awards on March 13 and Vietnam Cinematography Day on March 15.
The films will be shown at the National Cinema Centre and the Ngoc Khanh and August cinemas in Hanoi, as well as the Tan Son Nhat Culture and Cinematography Centre and Fafilm and Thang Long A cinemas in Ho Chi Minh City. The 11 featured films include ‘Vuot Qua Ben Thuong Hai’ (Across Shanghai), ‘Khat Vong Thang Long’ (Thang Long’s Aspirations), ‘Long Thanh Cam Gia Ca’ (The Fate of a Songstress in Thang Long), ‘Co Dau Dai Chien’ (Bride’s War), ‘Nhin Ra Bien Ca’ (Look at the Sea), ‘Hoa Dao’ (Peach Blossom), ‘Tay Son Hao Kiet’ (Tay Son Heroes), ‘Vu Dieu Dam Me’ (Passionate Dance), ‘Thien Su 99’ (Cherub 99) and ‘Canh Dong Bat Tan’ (Endless Field)
The screenings will continue through March 13.
