On behalf of General Secretary Diosdado Cabello and the PSUV leadership, Jesús Faría, Vice President of the PSUV, conveyed his warmest greetings and congratulations to General Secretary and State President To Lam, Party and State leaders, the Government, and people of Viet Nam on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
Vice President Jesús Faría said he was honoured to have visited Viet Nam on numerous occasions to learn from the country’s experience in pursuing renewal and national development. He has also visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum several times to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, the revered leader of Viet Nam and peace-loving peoples around the world, whom he holds in the highest esteem and admiration.
In particular, Jesús Faría expressed his great pride at having represented the PSUV and the Venezuelan Government at two major events held in Viet Nam in 2025: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, and the 80th anniversary of Viet Nam’s National Day.
Vice President Jesús Faría also conveyed farewell greetings from General Secretary Diosdado Cabello and the PSUV leadership to Ambassador Vu Trung My as he concludes his tenure in Venezuela.
Vice President Jesús Faría recognised Ambassador Vu Trung My’s positive contributions to promoting and strengthening the traditional friendship and Comprehensive Partnership between Viet Nam and Venezuela, particularly the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and the Communist Party of Vietnam. He expressed his hope that the sound ties between the two parties and the two countries would continue to be further deepened in the time ahead.
On the occasion, PSUV leaders also expressed their sincere and profound gratitude to the Party, State, Government, and people of Viet Nam for their steadfast support for Venezuela during difficult and challenging times.
Ambassador Vu Trung My expressed his sincere gratitude to the PSUV, the Venezuelan Government, and its leaders for the special sentiments and valuable support they had extended to him, enabling him to fulfil his responsibilities during his tenure.
Ambassador Vu Trung My reaffirmed the consistent position of the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam in supporting the just cause of the PSUV, the Venezuelan State, and people. He also affirmed that, regardless of the position he may hold in the future, he would continue contributing to the strengthening and further deepening of the traditional friendship and Comprehensive Partnership between Viet Nam and Venezuela.
Ambassador Vu Trung My expressed his confidence that, under the leadership of the PSUV, Venezuela would overcome all difficulties and challenges and continue firmly on the path towards peace and prosperity.
