Covering 1,100 sq.m in Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district, the house was built at a cost of more than VND 9 billion (US$405,810), which was donated by war veterans and philanthropists.
Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, underscored that the work aims to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom.
At the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan, provincial leaders and veterans offered incense in commemoration of the Vi Xuyen martyrs.
