The platform includes eight applications, divided into two categories. The first covers management and operations, featuring an official email system, document management, task tracking, and paperless meetings. The second focuses on specialised functions, including work scheduling, an AI-powered document assistant, verification support, and a digital signature system.
At the launch event, Hanoi’s key administrative offices signed a commitment to effectively implement the platform. The municipal Party Committee Office aims for full digital processing of documents and the integration of innovation and digital transformation into its 2025 work plan.
The municipal People’s Council and National Assembly delegation Office will digitise voter petitions and ensure all administrative processes are handled electronically.
The People’s Committee Office will pioneer innovation and digital governance policies, incorporating AI and blockchain into operations. Meanwhile, the Public Administration Service Centre will provide 100% online public services, integrate AI for citizen support, and enhance satisfaction levels to over 95%.
Hanoi considers digital transformation a key development driver, striving for a ‘smart, connected, and citizen-centric’ capital. The city has unified its administrative reform and digital governance efforts, deploying over 5,000 community digital transformation teams and decentralising nearly 600 administrative procedures.
Hanoi also leads in piloting electronic health records and developing the “iHanoi” citizen app, aiming for the digital economy to contribute 30% to the city’s GDP by 2025.
