Addressing the event, Associate Professor Dr Pham Ngoc Linh, Vice President of VUSTA, stated that the workshop offers an opportunity for the scientific and technological intellectual community to continue applying their wisdom and sense of responsibility, contributing sincere and practical opinions to the cause of sustainable national development.

He urged delegates to provide in-depth, comprehensive perspectives on matters such as the outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress, the implementation of strategic resolutions on economic and cultural development, and preparations and election results for the 16th National Assembly.

Discussions should also highlight issues relating to social security, the Party and State’s care for the people during the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet), the quality of healthcare and education services, and the nation’s capacity to respond to emerging epidemics.

In the areas of security, order, and social safety, attention should be directed towards high-tech crime, environmental and climate challenges, particularly air pollution in major cities and rural environmental degradation.

The VUSTA Vice President emphasised that voters and the public place profound trust in the Party’s leadership and the State’s governance and administration, with expectations for significant developmental progress in the country in the coming period.
