In addition to its headquarters at 43 Nguyen Van Ba Street, Thu Duc Ward, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Administrative Service Centre operates two additional facilities in the Binh Duong and Ba Ria–Vung Tau areas, along with 38 local service units. Together, they form an extensive public administrative service network, offering greater convenience for residents and businesses.

When conducting transactions at the centre, citizens can access the full range of administrative procedures under the City’s jurisdiction and easily select the relevant field for processing, instead of having to deal with multiple agencies as in the past.

This marks an important milestone in Ho Chi Minh City’s administrative reform efforts, with people and businesses placed at the heart of public service delivery.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Nguyen Manh Cuong said that administrative reform, particularly the reform of administrative procedures, has long been identified by the city as a key and ongoing task, directly linked to improving the quality of services for residents and businesses, as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of state management.

The establishment and operation of the City’s Public Administrative Service Centre demonstrate the City’s efforts to shift from a traditional administrative approach to a service-oriented model of governance.

According to Nguyen Manh Cuong, with the centre in operation, all administrative procedures will be centralised under a single focal point. The City’s People’s Committee will continue to closely monitor the centre’s operations in order to promptly identify and address any difficulties.

Administrative procedures will be implemented in a simplified, open, and transparent manner, with digitalisation and the effective use of shared data across the entire city.

At the ceremony, Director Nguyen Tuan Anh said that the centre’s mission is to build a paperless public administration without administrative boundaries, serving the people under the motto of “service-oriented administration”.

He pledged that the team of officials and civil servants at the centre would remain open-minded and ready to innovate.
