The programme will perform classic musical works and excerpts with the joyful melody of spring.

The opening of the music night is the exciting, enchanting waltz sound of the overture from the operetta The Gypsy Baron — a work associated with J. Strauss.

Next will be the romantic Villanelle by Eva Dell’Accqua with climaxing cadenza passages and the works Glitter and Be Gay from the operetta Candide by Leonard Bernstein will be performed sharply by Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc.

Intertwined with complex, sorrowful emotions are the works Core’ngrato by Salvatore Cardillo and Mattinata by Ruggero Leoncavallo. The two works will be performed by tenor Pham Trang. A series of familiar works including Non Ti Scordar Di Me, Mamma, Torna A Surriento, and O Sole Mio will close Part 1 with melodies filled with love and hope.

Zigeunerweisen (Gypsy Airs) op.20, a work for violin and orchestra written in 1878 by Spanish composer Pablo de Sarasate will be performed by Meritorious Artist Tang Thanh Nam to open Part 2. The night will end with Carmen Suite No. 1 & No. 2 — a famous suite by Georges Bizet.
