According to Hue City Tourism Department, the award recognises the city’s ongoing efforts to develop Hue as a destination rich in identity, pursuing green, sustainable growth with profound experiential depth.
Launched for the first time in 2022, HOTLIST Travellive Editor’s Pick is an annual selection by Travellive Media Group, honouring destinations, brands, and individuals with outstanding contributions to Viet Nam's tourism industry.
The 2025 HOTLIST expanded to seven key tourism categories: Hospitality, Aviation, Travel Design & Experiences, Destination, Technology & Innovations, Sustainability, and Community Projects & Voices.
This year’s edition adopted the theme “Journey from Seed to Grain”, inspired by the rice grain – a symbol of wet-rice culture and the Vietnamese people’s resilient spirit. The message highlighted long-term vision, perseverance, and adaptability amid the tourism industry’s new challenges.
Notably, HOTLIST 2025 introduced public voting in the final review stage, boosting participation from the community and industry experts.
