An exhibition of Japan’s contemporary painting, a Japanese singing contest, a Yosakoi dance, and a Cosplay Vietnam Cup contest were also held.

The festival attracted eight artists from the Japan’s Da Da Da Dan Tenko group, and Vietnamese famous singers such as Hong Hanh, Nguyen Vu and Chi Thien.

Japanese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Hida Harumitsu said he hopes through this festival, the city’s youth will find the similarities between the two cultures, while strengthening the cultural exchange and sustainable development between Vietnam and Japan.
