Establishing a joint command, each side deployed three land patrol groups consisting of 24 officers, with each comprising eight members. The patrol covered the area from Border Marker No. 29 to Border Marker No. 71.

The operation was divided into two phases, spanning a total of 7 hours. Throughout the patrol, the teams made four vehicle trips and exchanged greetings 12 times along the border. Covering about 150 km, they engaged with 300 border residents, distributing 300 flyers containing crucial information about legal regulations and disease prevention.

In the coming time, both sides will adhere to the agreements reached during the 2023 professional dialogue between the Vietnamese delegations of the Border Guards of Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, and Ha Giang, and the delegation of China's Yunnan immigration checkpoint.

They will maintain regular communication through official letters and hotlines to share information and coordinate responses to border management and crime prevention issues.

The joint patrols will be enhanced to promptly detect and prevent criminal activities, particularly illegal immigration, human trafficking, smuggling, and other crimes. Additionally, both sides will intensify the dissemination of legal regulations and policies to border residents, raising their awareness and compliance with national border management laws.
