Construction of the house started in July after Chinh’s old house was heavily damaged by a flood, on May 10 of this year.

The family received funding of 50 million VND from the Provincial Association of Victims of AO/Dioxin, as well as financial support from relatives and neighbours.

Earlier, on December 15, the association coordinated with the Provincial Veterans-owned Business Association, to hand over 40 million VND, to support the repair and upgrade of the private house of Tran Thi Hong, a 77-year-old resident in Phat Chi village, Dinh Lap commune, Dinh Lap district.

The house’s repair has been completed at a total cost of 120 million VND.
