On behalf of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organisations, received the donation from leaders, party members, officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Deputy Minister Vu Chien Thang said that responding to the call of the Presidium of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee and promoting the nation's tradition of “mutual assistance” and “the good leaves protecting the torn leaves”, on November 24 the Ministry of Home Affairs launched a fundraising campaign among all its officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers. The 1.06 billion VND donated on this occasion represents the goodwill, affection, and voluntary contributions of the ministry’s staff, with the hope of making a small contribution to share difficulties and help people in the Central and Central Highlands regions soon overcome the consequences of the natural disasters, stabilise their lives, and restore production.

Receiving the donation, Tran Thang expressed sincere appreciation and gratitude for the valuable sentiments and timely support from the ministry’s leaders and officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers. He emphasised that every act of timely and practical support will help people in the affected provinces to overcome immediate difficulties and soon rebuild their lives.

He noted that this is the second donation made by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2025 in support of the Central and Central Highlands regions. Earlier, in October 2025, immediately after natural disasters struck, the Ministry of Home Affairs organised the first fundraising campaign to share the great losses suffered by the people in the northern and central provinces to overcome the aftermath of Storm No. 10 and Storm No. 11.

As of 5 p.m. on November 25, more than 1.05 million people and nearly 61,000 enterprises had made donations to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions through the Central Relief Committee. The total amount registered through this committee reached 2,088.5 billion VND.

By November 29, the Central Relief Committee had allocated 275 billion VND to support the four provinces of Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong. Of this, 60 billion VND was allocated to Khanh Hoa, 90 billion VND to Dak Lak, 75 billion VND to Gia Lai, and 50 billion VND to Lam Dong.
