Speaking at the event, the NA official emphasised that the Party, State and people always remember and remain eternally grateful to revolutionary contributors. She underlined that caring for those who rendered meritorious service to the national revolution is not only a political responsibility but also a sacred duty and a noble moral tradition of Viet Nam.
She commended the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak, as well as the efforts of relevant departments and agencies in fully and promptly implementing preferential policies for revolutionary contributors.
She also noted their effective mobilisation of social resources to enhance both the material and spiritual wellbeing of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors.
She called for greater attention to housing, healthcare, education, employment and living standards for policy beneficiaries, while urging the vigorous promotion of revolutionary traditions, solidarity and collective effort to build Dak Lak into a faster‑developing, sustainable and civilised province.
The NA Vice Chairwoman expressed her hope that beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors will continue to uphold their revolutionary spirit, set a shining example for younger generations, and actively contribute to the development of their homeland.
At the event, NA Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh and provincial leaders presented 200 gifts to wounded and sick veterans, relatives of martyrs and revolutionary contributors in the communes of Ea Wer, Ea Nuol and Buon Don.
Dak Lak Province currently has 97,175 revolutionary contributors, including 2,047 Vietnamese heroic mothers. A total of 34,277 families of policy beneficiaries receive regular support from local authorities.
Marking the 79th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, Dak Lak Province has allocated more than 21.5 billion VND from the local budget to organise visits and gift-giving activities for families of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors.
