National Press Festival slated for March 17-19

The National Press Festival 2023, is scheduled to take place at the Hanoi Museum from March 17-19, announced by the organisation board on March 10.

Themed “Solidarity - Professionalism - Culture - Creativity”, the festival is jointly organised by the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA), the Party Central Committee Commission for Communication and Education, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

It aims to highlight the achievements of the national reform process and the growth of Vietnam’s revolutionary press while strengthening the exchange between journalists and the community and honouring individuals, collectives, and enterprises, with outstanding contributions to the development of the country’s revolutionary press.

Along with various pavilions organised by central and local media agencies nationwide, the festival also includes several seminars and conferences, including those on A.I. and content management and creation in newsrooms, the press and culture, the press as a tool connecting business and government, and the training of young journalists.

The organisation board will present awards to the most impressive pavilion, the best Tet newspaper cover page, the best e-paper display, the best Tet (Lunar New Year) TV programme and press impressions of 2023.
