Carrying the theme "Proud of our identity, honouring Vietnamese beauty", this year's competition celebrated the qualities of the modern Vietnamese woman, highlighting confidence, resilience, individuality and a commitment to making meaningful contributions to society.
After progressing through preliminary rounds, the semi-finals and a series of community-focused activities, the finalists competed in traditional ao dai, swimwear and evening gown presentations, as well as an interview segment designed to assess their communication skills and poise.
Kieu Vy impressed both the judging panel and spectators with her confident stage presence, strong performance and composure throughout the competition. Her victory marks the beginning of a new role as an ambassador for community initiatives and humanitarian values.
Before claiming the national title, the Ho Chi Minh City beauty had reached the finals of the Miss Universe Viet Nam pageant in 2019 and 2022.
Speaking after her coronation, she said that today's Vietnamese women should preserve traditional virtues such as compassion, integrity and family responsibility while continually improving their knowledge, confidence and adaptability to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.
The organisers also named Bui Ngoc Minh Duy as first runner-up and Vo Thi Thanh Van as second runner-up. A number of subsidiary awards were presented, including Miss Tourism Ambassador, Best Ao Dai, Best Swimwear, Best Evening Gown, Miss Media, Miss Intelligence, Miss Photogenic, Miss Popularity and Miss Fashion.
