Nguyen Hue Flower Street celebrates Lunar New Year

Nguyen Hue Flower Street, themed “Ho Chi Minh City - Safe and prosperous Spring”, officially opened on January 19 (the 27th day of the last lunar month), to welcome the Lunar Year of the Cat 2023.
The 600m flower street features 88 varieties of flowers, and nearly 106,000 pots and flower baskets of all kinds.

The opening ceremony was attended by Politburo members and standing members of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Vo Van Thuong; Politburo member and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; among others.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2023, the 20th of its kind to take place during the traditional Tet holiday in Ho Chi Minh City since 2004, is expected to bring hope for a bright future to the public while extending gratitude to their compatriots nationwide, who have given great support and love to Ho Chi Minh City.

The 600m flower street was divided into two segments and uses many environmentally friendly and reusable materials such as metal, foam, rattan, bamboo, bricks, nets, and knitting ropes, along with about 88 varieties of flowers, and nearly 106,000 pots and flower baskets of all kinds.

The Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2022 will run until January 26 (the fifth day of the first lunar month).
