After preparing the necessary procedures according to regulations, Ba Ly Bridge across Lung Chim Canal, in Lung Chim Hamlet, Dinh Thanh Commune, Ca Mau Province, officially began construction on the morning of September 26.
This is the fourth rural traffic bridge to commence construction in the Mekong Delta, and the second bridge built in rural areas of Ca Mau Province, mobilised by the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the southern region with support from Nam Duoc Joint Stock Company.
Ba Ly Bridge is the second bridge that the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in the southern region mobilised support from Nam Duoc Joint Stock Company to deploy in the rural areas of Ca Mau Province.
According to the design, Ba Ly Bridge is built with reinforced concrete, 26m long, 2.5m wide, with a total construction cost of 350 million VND, to be completed within 45 days from the commencement date.
Of which, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper mobilised 150 million VND in support from Nam Duoc Joint Stock Company, while the remainder will come from local counterpart funding and other lawful sources.
Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dinh Thanh Commune Do Hoang Liet thanked Nhan Dan Newspaper and Nam Duoc Joint Stock Company, for their active support, helping provide more funds to build the bridge and better srve local transport and trade.
