The Viet Nam Tourism Awards 2025 were organised under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism and Van Hoa (Culture) Newspaper as co-organisers. The ceremony was broadcast live on VTV1.
The awards not only honour outstanding enterprises, organisations, training institutions and media agencies but also serve as vivid testimony to the strong recovery and remarkable breakthroughs of Viet Nam’s tourism sector following the COVID-19 pandemic, now achieving one of the fastest growth rates in the world.
In his remarks at the event, Politburo Member Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister, emphasised: “Tourism is not merely an economic sector; it is an industry of discovery, experience and emotion, an art of connection, showcasing fascinating destinations, scenic landscapes and historical and cultural sites.”.
“The Party and the State have identified tourism as a spearhead economic sector, a ‘smokeless industry’ that generates livelihoods for millions of people, breathes life into many regions, promotes cultural exchange, fosters friendship, preserves peace and projects the image of a friendly, hospitable and distinctive Viet Nam to international friends.”
