Following the reception, the visitors boarded boats to visit distinctive attractions on Thoi Son Islet (Thoi Son Ward, Dong Thap Province), where they experienced sampan rowing, sampled fresh fruit, enjoyed honey tea, listened to don ca tai tu (traditional musical art form of the south), and explored various orchard-based tourism products.

The successful reception of an international group of around 1,000 visitors not only signals a positive recovery in the international tourism market but also affirms the appeal of the Mekong Delta’s river-based tourism, particularly in Dong Thap. It also presents an opportunity for the locality to promote its image and enhance its capacity to host large-scale tourist groups in the future.
