Specifically, from April 30 to May 2, the total number of tourists visiting Quang Ninh was estimated at 810,000, including approximately 782,300 domestic tourists and 27,700 international tourists; the number of overnight stays was estimated at 330,000.
Some tourist areas and localities experienced a significant increase in visitors, such as: Ha Long Bay with 56,480 visitors; Sun World Ha Long Park with 47,000 visitors; the Quang Ninh Museum received 20,510 visitors; the Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage Complex received 18,100; the Tran Dynasty Relic Site received 5,775; the Bach Dang Relic Site received 10,230; Cai Chien commune received 3,580; the Co To Special Economic Zone received 19,620; the Van Don Special Economic Zone received 82,000; and Uong Bi ward received 29,300 visitors.
In particular, along with ensuring security, order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, and combating various types of crime, the Quang Ninh Police force has actively and proactively assisted the people and tourists in many emerging situations, leaving behind beautiful images that have been appreciated by the people and tourists.
During the holiday period from April 29 to May 1, the police force throughout the province assisted eight children in reuniting with their families, returned 25 items of various kinds such as mobile phones, wallets, and documents to residents and tourists, and found and returned 14 lost national identity cards.
Among these cases were two international tourists visiting Quang Ninh, who received dedicated assistance from the police force, helping them quickly recover their belongings and continue their sightseeing safely.
Many tourists expressed their sincere gratitude for the sense of responsibility, dedication, and civilised and friendly conduct of the Quang Ninh police force.
These meaningful and commendable actions not only helped tourists overcome difficult and unexpected situations during their journey but also contributed to spreading a positive image of the capable, humane, and people-serving police officers of Quang Ninh.
