In interviews with Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, representatives of overseas Vietnamese communities expressed their great trust in the Party’s leadership and their high hope on Vietnam’s new development path.
Sim Chy, President of the Khmer-Vietnamese Association in Cambodia (KVA), expressed his excitement about witnessing strong development during his recent visits to Vietnam.
“Notably, there has been significant progress in infrastructure, including transportation systems in Hanoi and major cities, along with beautiful projects serving the people's lives. Additionally, the country is implementing many important projects, such as the North-South high-speed railway and nuclear power plant projects,” said Sim Chy.

With over 40 years of community work experience, he noted that despite difficulties, overseas Vietnamese people in Cambodia always turn their hearts toward the motherland.
He hailed that thanks to the support of the Party, Uncle Ho, domestic agencies, organisations, and local authorities, the living conditions of overseas Vietnamese people in Cambodia have gradually improved.
Currently, the KVA operates 9 schools and 31 classes. Many children have returned to Vietnam for higher education and have stable jobs upon graduation, making contributions to local economic and social development, he noted.
As a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Sim Chy shared that through various conferences he attended, he observed that leaders at all levels of the Party and State pay great care for Overseas Vietnamese abroad, including Cambodia.
Looking ahead to the new spring in Vietnam, he expressed confidence in victories across all fields under the Party's leadership. This marks an era of growth for the Vietnamese nation. Under the glorious flag of the Party, Vietnamese people both at home and abroad unite to strive for Vietnam's advancement to new heights.
Speaking to Nhan Dan Newspaper correspondents in Russia on the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the CPV (February 3, 1930 – 2025), Dr Nguyen Quoc Hung, a researcher at the Centre of Russian Strategy in Asia, Institute of Economics of Russian Academy of Sciences, highly praised the role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, affirming that under the Party’s leadership, Vietnam increasingly holds significant prestige and an important position on the international stage.

Highlighting significant socio-economic, political, and diplomatic progress of Vietnam, he asserted that the Party's leadership and Ho Chi Minh Thought are both sound and wise, consistently supported and trusted by the people.
The Party successfully led the Vietnamese people in their struggle for national independence, liberation, and reunification, thanks to its mettle, intellect, and capability.
In the national building and economic development, the Party sets noble goals for prosperous people, a strong nation, democracy, justice, and civilisation. Vietnam is preparing to enter a new era — the era of the nation’s rise. Party General Secretary To Lam has emphasised this as an era of development, wealth, and prosperity.
Under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people have maximised patriotism and revolutionary heroism, successfully addressing historical demands and excellently achieving strategic goals set forth.
He stressed that as the country is preparing all conditions to step into a new era, this requires all resources, not just material resources but also intellectual and spiritual resources, of which the potential within the overseas Vietnamese community is significant and needs to be fully tapped.
He expressed confidence that under the Party's leadership, with the strength of national unity, the spirit of creativity, and the aspiration to contribute from every Vietnamese person will surely lead the country firmly advance into a new era — an era of development and prosperity, an era of Vietnam’s rise.

As an expatriate born in Thailand, Hung closely follows developments in Vietnam and has complete faith in the Party's wise leadership and the creative spirit of the Vietnamese people, especially the youth.
He believes that by the country is gradually progressing towards a new era aimed at achieving wealth for the people, a strong nation, democracy, fairness, and civilisation.
Participating in the Spring Homeland programme in Bangkok, Pham Thanh Tuan shared his emotional experience of joining fellow expatriates in a festive atmosphere and singing songs praising their homeland.
Tuan affirmed that he and other expatriates in Thailand share a strong desire for the fatherland to innovate and achieve significant progress.
Le Anh Dung, another participant at the event, said that overseas Vietnamese in Thailand are rejoicing at Vietnam's economic and social achievements.
He hopes to contribute more to the overseas Vietnam community and the motherland. “As a child of the Vietnamese nation, I am very pleased to see my homeland developing as it is today,” he shared.
He emphasised the irreplaceable role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in driving the country's reforms and leading it into this new era of national rise.
The achievements and successes that Vietnam has attained are evidence of the correct policies set forth by the Communist Party of Vietnam. “Through this, we see that the role of the Communist Party of Vietnam is increasingly recognised and trusted by expatriates in Thailand,” he concluded.
