The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person participation with online connections to 3,606 sites nationwide.
Comrade Pham Tat Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications, Education and Mass Mobilisation, chaired the conference.
Attending the conference at the Ha Noi site were Party Central Committee members Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Standing Office of the Party Central Office; Nguyen Minh Vu, Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; and current and former leaders of central commissions, ministries and sectors.
At the conference, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha delivered a thematic briefing entitled “Rapid briefing on the outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress”, highlighting many new points regarding the preparation process, content and outcomes. The 14th National Party Congress took place from January 19 to January 23 in the capital Ha Noi. After five days of serious, responsible and scientific work, with a high level of collective intelligence, democracy and innovation, the Congress concluded with great success. The Congress engaged in in-depth and democratic discussions and adopted important documents reflecting the collective wisdom of the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army. These documents are highly synthesised, crystallising theory and practice, and emphasise new and breakthrough points to guide the country into a new era of development. The Congress underscored the Party’s leadership role, placed the people at the centre, identified building a strong Party as the key task, and aimed towards the goal of a prosperous people and a strong country, democracy, equity and civilisation.
The conference also heard a thematic briefing by Nguyen Minh Vu entitled “The global and regional landscape, the foreign policy line of the 14th National Party Congress and key focuses and directions for implementation”. The presentation covered the assessment of the current international and regional environment; new aspects of the Congress’s foreign policy and international integration line; and orientations and tasks for the coming period.
Speaking at the conference, emphasising the milestones and comprehensive success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, comrade Pham Tat Thang requested that, in the time ahead, practical and effective communication activities be organised to widely disseminate the outcomes of the Congress to officials, Party members and all strata of the people, overseas Vietnamese and international friends; and that Directive No. 01-CT/TW dated January 23, 2026 of the Politburo on studying, learning, thoroughly grasping, communicating and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress be implemented seriously.
At the same time, it was clearly defined that the organisation of studying, learning, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress constitutes a broad and profound political activity, aimed at enabling officials and Party members to firmly understand and correctly, creatively and effectively apply the Resolution; creating clear changes in awareness, unity of will and action throughout the Party; and consolidating public consensus.
Pham Tat Thang noted that the study, learning, thorough grasping, communication and implementation of the Resolution must be carried out from the very beginning of the term, on a regular and synchronous basis, combining harmoniously traditional methods with the application of science and technology and digital transformation; and renewing thinking from “studying and thoroughly grasping” to “deep understanding – correct action – following through to completion”.
Communication content should focus on clarifying the success of the Congress, the core contents and new points of the Resolution; at the same time fully identifying opportunities, advantages, difficulties and challenges in the coming period. It should proactively guide public opinion in association with protecting the Party’s ideological foundation; promptly refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints; and comprehensively reflect the practical implementation of the Resolution.
At the same time, communication on the Election of Deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People’s Councils at all levels for the 226–2031 term should continue to be intensified, contributing to enabling voters to select and elect outstanding deputies who truly represent the will, aspirations and mastery rights of the people.
