As the representative of TikTok Vietnam, Mr Nguyen Lam Thanh emphasised: “Technology can refresh how we perceive heritage, making seemingly distant values feel much closer. TikTok LIVE allows viewers to see and touch heritage, both literally and figuratively.”
A highlight of the programme was the panel discussion “Sustainable Tourism through the Values of Vietnamese Heritage”, featuring cultural and technology experts and researchers. Key discussion topics included: unlocking the potential of cultural and natural heritage for tourism development; the role of technologies like AR and livestreaming in storytelling; solutions to turn lesser-known heritage sites into attractive destinations; the impact of heritage-based tourism on community awareness; and how to balance preservation with economic and tourism development.
“Vietnamese beauty” Season 3 includes two phases:
Online phase (May 12–18): Dedicated to content creators livestreaming and showcasing pride in Vietnam’s cultural heritage. Outstanding individuals will be selected for the next journey.
Offline phase (June 1–10): A real-life journey to five culturally rich localities: Hanoi, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Hue. Activities will be livestreamed on the @tiktoklive_vietnam channel, offering a multi-dimensional experience of local architecture, rituals, cultural life, and cuisine.
