In the letter, Giang, who is also a Politburo member and Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, stressed that the success of the military parade and march reflected the continuous growth and strength of the heroic Viet Nam People’s Army under the sound and clear-sighted leadership of the Party, the unified governance of the State, and the wholehearted support of the people.
It also continued to inspire patriotism, national unity, pride, and the trust of the people towards the army’s officers and soldiers, while encouraging and motivating the Party, people, and armed forces to confidently enter a new era, building a strong, prosperous, civilised, and peaceful country, he added.
On this occasion, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence expressed their appreciation for Nhan Dan Newspaper’s timely dispatch of dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic journalists and editors who accompanied military personnel through tireless training at fields and training grounds.
They produced and published numerous reports, articles, features, and documentaries about the leadership, guidance, organisation, rehearsals, and the military parade and march at the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, thus contributing to spreading the military and defence strength of Viet Nam and the noble image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers to the people and international friends.
The Defence Minister expressed his hope for even stronger cooperation and collaboration from Nhan Dan Newspaper’s team, thereby inspiring and motivating officers, soldiers, and the entire armed forces to excel in fulfilling all assigned tasks, living up to the trust and affection of the Party, the State, and the people.
