Sam Son beach tourism season launched

Nhan Dan Online – Sam Son town in the central province of Thanh Hoa hosted the tourism season opening ceremony on April 28, which included numerous art performances featuring the integration and development of the town.

The town has gradually improved the quality of its tourism services, which has attracted more and more visitors to the beach. In 2012, the town received 2.1 million visitors and its tourism revenues currently are estimated at roughly VND975 billion.

To better serve visitors, Sam Son town has enhanced the checking and supervising administration of selling at listed price and organised many tours to relics and sightseeing in the province such as Ho Dynasty Citadel, Lam Kinh historical relics and Cam Luong fish stream. It has also cleaned up the beaches and streets as well as stepped up patrols to ensure security, order and safety during the summer season.

The town expects to welcome more than 2.3 million tourists and earn VND1,200 billion from tourism in 2013.
