Agoda’s data also showed a 84% increase in foreign visitors’ searches for Ha Noi, which will host a military parade and various performances to mark the 80th anniversary of Viet Nam’s National Day.
The sharp growth demonstrates Ha Noi’s prominent position on the international travel map as it strengthens its status as a must-visit cultural hub in Southeast Asia.
Agoda has highlighted several accommodation options offering views of the parade on September 2, including the Hung Vuong-Nguyen Thai Hoc-Hang Chao intersection, where formations spread out, offering spectators a sweeping vantage point of the parade.
Other good vantage points include the Le Duan–Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection, Cua Nam, the Kim Ma–Lieu Giai area, and the Hang Khay–Trang Tien Street by Hoan Kiem Lake.
Vu Ngoc Lam, Agoda Country Director for Viet Nam, said the 80th National Day is a special opportunity for visitors to fully enjoy the capital city’s diverse cultural atmosphere.
