The contest was open to reporters, journalists, photographers and editors, who are working in press agencies around the country.

The contestants will answer ten questions, including nine multiple choice and one essay question, related to gender inequality that was mentioned in a handbook entitled “Reporting on violence against women and girls”.

The participants can access the link https://bit.ly/3dxTKeY to learn and improve their knowledge on reporting violence against women and girls and register for the contest.

The deadline for entries is December 27.

The organising board will present one first place, one second place and one third place prize, worth 9 million VND, 7 million VND and 5 million VND, respectively.

The two-chapter handbook provides detailed information on 10 specific topics related to violence against women and girls, while providing recommendations regarding journalistic ethics for reporting gender-based violence.
