Four young Vietnamese make Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list

Forbes has announced its 30 Under 30 Asia list of young entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders in the Asia-Pacific region, including four representatives from Vietnam.

The selection was made from over 2,000 entries, from 23 countries and territories in the region, in diverse categories.

The four Vietnamese named on the famed list are Ly Khanh Hau, Le Tan Thanh Thinh, Kevin Tung Nguyen, and Ngo Hoang Gia Khanh.

Ly Khanh Hau, 28 years old, is the most senior non-partner investor at 500 Startups Vietnam. She has helped the fund invest US$3 million across 40 startups and raised over US$100 million in follow up rounds.

Ly also lead the operations of Saola Accelerator, a partnership between 500 Startups Vietnam and leading retailer GS Shop from the Republic of Korea.

Le Tan Thanh Thinh, also 28, is cofounder and CEO of BrandBeats music marketing agency in Vietnam, a startup which was invited to join the World Economic Forum 2018. Brandbeats connects brand specialists with music producers to create communication campaigns for clients.

Kevin Tung Nguyen, 29, a cofounder of JobHop, a Vietnamese recruitment service firm aiming to simplify and streamline the recruiting process for human resource managers.

Ngo Hoang Gia Khanh, 29, is an executive board member and director of finance at TIKI, a multi-faceted e-commerce platform that is among the largest in the country.

The 2019 edition of the 30 Under 30 Asia list names 30 representatives in the 10 different categories of The Arts (Art & Style, Food & Drink); Entertainment & Sports; Finance & Venture Capital; Media, Marketing & Advertising; Retail & Ecommerce; Enterprise Technology; Industry, Manufacturing & Energy; Healthcare & Science; Social Entrepreneurs; and Consumer Technology.
