The event attracted broad interest from numerous scientists, receiving 165 scholarly papers from nearly 70 agencies and organisations. It also drew the participation of representatives from many universities, research institutes, and training institutions from diverse fields such as economics, engineering, social sciences and humanities, education, the military, and security.

Discussions at the event focused on two main topics. The first session, titled “Viet Nam (1945–2025): Achievements and Experiences”, analysed the application of Marxism-Leninism, President Ho Chi Minh’s Thought, and the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam over the past 80 years in the national construction, defence, and development.

The second session, themed “The Era of National Rise: Prospects and Challenges”, studied issues posed by Marxism-Leninism in the era of national rise, the applicable values of Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the Communist Party’s leadership in the current situation.

The symposium aimed to create a forum for scholars, researchers, experts, and managers to exchange views on theoretical and practical issues in the process of building, defending, and developing the country.

It also sought to propose new approaches and contribute scientific arguments to support teaching and research in Marxism-Leninism and President Ho Chi Minh’s Thought.
