More fallen soldiers’ remains recovered in Quang Tri Province

Responding to the 500-day campaign to accelerate the search, recovery and identification of martyrs’ remains, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command announced that, as of August 4, search teams had recovered 13 sets of martyrs’ remains in the Cau Nhi area of Nam Hai Lang Commune, Quang Tri Province.

Hill 722 – Dak Sak was designated a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2012.

Drawing on eyewitness memories and traces of the old battlefield, this July, the historic revolutionary site of Hill 722 in Dak Sak Commune, Lam Dong Province, has once again welcomed working teams quietly making their way across hillsides and local farms to cross-check maps, conduct surveys, identify coordinates and search for the nation’s fallen heroes who still remain buried there.
