The High Command’s recovery team said the search area is being expanded on the basis of information provided by witnesses, combined with the results of field surveys.
During operations on July 27, the team recovered eight additional sets of remains, along with several personal artefacts.
As of the end of July 27, a total of 125 sets of martyrs’ remains had been recovered, including two commingled sets that have already been separated and three others that are yet to be examined.
Search operations are continuing over a wider area, with investigators combining field surveys, witness accounts and historical records to identify further burial locations.
