Tay Ninh: Tourism revenue reaches over 365 billion VND during 6-day Tet holiday

According to the Tay Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 6-day Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday in 2026, tourism activities in the province were vibrant and safe, recording positive growth in both visitor numbers and revenue, contributing to a favourable start to the new year.

Reports from tourism businesses showed that from February 14-19, 2026 (the 27th day of the 12th lunar month to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), tourist areas and attractions in Tay Ninh province welcomed and served approximately 395,000 visitors, an increase of 19.8% compared to the same period last year.

Notably, the local spiritual and ecological tourist destination, Ba Den Mountain, welcomed approximately 327,000 visitors, a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. In addition, tourist areas and attractions such as Long Dien Son, Chavi Garden, Happy Land, My Quynh Zoo, Milan Farm, Van Lai Vien, Tan Lap Floating Village, along with agricultural tourism destinations, rest stops, and shopping facilities, attracted around 68,000 visitors.

Total revenue from tourism activities during the 6-day Tet holiday was estimated at over 365 billion VND, a 26.2% increase compared to the same period last year. These results demonstrate the growing appeal of tourism in Tay Ninh. This also reflects the proactive approach of all levels and sectors in preparing and organising services for tourists, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, food safety and hygiene, and strictly enforcing regulations on price listing.

These positive signals from the beginning of the year are an important basis for the province’s tourism industry to continue promoting, diversifying products, improving service quality, exploiting potential and advantages, and making a positive contribution to local socio-economic development in 2026.
