The section will be carried out from 2016-2020 at a total cost of US$10.77 million, US$10.5 million of which comes from non-refundable aid by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) entrusted to the WB.
It will zone off districts along the corridor, adjust urban designs in line with the transit oriented development (TOD) and build a mechanism to encourage the private sector to get involved in the public transport construction. A legal framework and regulations for the city’s sustainable development are also included in the technical support package.
