The deputy PM offered his regards and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Lien in Nha Trang Ward; Tran Thi Suong, a revolutionary veteran imprisoned during the war, who is currently cared for at the Khanh Hoa Centre for Nursing and Care for National Contributors; Labour Hero Ho Thi Luom, who made contributions during the resistance period; and Nguyen Quang Vinh in Bao An Ward, a wounded veteran and revolutionary who was imprisoned during the war.
At each visit, Deputy PM Dung expressed the Party, state, and people’s deep gratitude for the contributions of Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, and revolutionaries to the cause of national liberation and reunification. He encouraged the families to continue upholding the revolutionary tradition, guiding younger generations in their studies and work to contribute to the ongoing development of their homeland.

The deputy PM also called on Party committees, local authorities, and relevant units to fully and promptly implement preferential policies, carry out meaningful gratitude activities, and take better care of the material and spiritual lives of those who have rendered service to the revolution. He stressed that this is key to educating the younger generation and promoting the Vietnamese tradition of “drinking water, remembering the source.”
