The annual award is jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, the Vietnam Young Physicians’ Association and the Ministry of Health.
The ten young doctors were praised for their wholehearted dedication and outstanding achievements in scientific research and application towards enhancing the people’s healthcare, as well as volunteer activities within the community, especially in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ten outstanding faces include: Nguyen Dang Quang from Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Rehabilitation – Treatment of Occupational Diseases; Le Tuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of Hanoi Young Physicians’ Association; Le Xuan Tung from the National Children’s Hospital; Dang Van Hoa from Bac Giang Provincial General Hospital; Dang Thi Yen Vy from My Phuoc General Hospital, Binh Duong Province; Nguyen Duc Tien from 19-8 Hospital, the Ministry of Public Security; Le Thi Lan, Central Mental Hospital 2; Le Minh Ngoc, Hanoi Medical University Hospital; Lo Thi Thanh Hop from the Medical Centre of Nam Po District, Dien Bien province; Vu Son Giang, Chairman of the Young Physicians’ Association of Military Hospital 175.
After nine previous ceremonies, this award has honoured 200 young people, including excellent doctors, pharmacists, nurses and technicians, who have made several contributions and dedications, for the cause of protection and care of the people's health.
